DAAD Alumni
There are exciting DAAD funding opportunities available for DAAD alumni members. The DAAD can fund Alumni Events, and Scientific Literature and Equipment that you might need for your ongoing research at your home institution. You may also elect to conduct further research and strengthen international networks with the Re-Invitation Programme in Germany.
As a DAAD alumni member you have the option to create your own DAAD alumni profile using this portal. In the portal you can generate your own DAAD alumni email address as well as update your personal information, keep updated with calls for applications and workshops for DAAD alumni members and access specialist literature. We strongly encourage you to create the email address so that we can send you important information to a reliable email address. Please keep your postal address up to date in the portal so that we can send you festive postcards and invite you to DAAD and other Germany-related events in your area.
In order to create an account in this portal, a DAAD PKZ (Person Identification Number) is required. This should be on your letter of award. If you do not know the number or cannot find it, please send an email to alumni@daad.de.
In the eyes of the DAAD, the end of a funding period marks the beginning of a long-standing relationship with us. We aim to stay in touch with our alumni as well as help you get to know one another through a serious of programmes and activities.
