The DAAD Information Centre Johannesburg hosted an in-person info-session at the oldest German school in South Africa on 20 May 2025.

The DAAD Team had the opportunity to travel to KwaZulu-Natal to host an informative session to the students at Hermannsburg School. Located near Greytown, Hermannsburg was founded in 1856 by German missionaries and has a long-standing tradition of academic excellence and cultural exchange.

The session introduced students to study and scholarship opportunities in Germany, with a focus on different study pathways, funding options, application processes, and student life in Germany.

We look forward to continued collaboration with schools across the country to support and inspire the next generation of global scholars.
